Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove the PCB cover
Locate jumper terminals next to connector M5 on the main PCB
Remove the PCB cover
Locate jumper terminals next to connector M5 on the main PCB
Observation:
If a jumper is fitted to position JP6 (as shown in the picture) remove it.
Removing this jumper DISABLES preheat and is important to ensure a correct diagnosis.
The preheat function will be tested later in the model.
If the jumper is removed remember to replace it
once diagnosis is complete.
If preheat is enabled boiler will fire to maintain heat exchanger
temperature. Firing temperature range 40-55°C (approximately).
