A known fault with this boiler is that it can revert to a European scald prevention setting where the appliance will not allow the temperature to go above 41°C. This is a software fault caused by stray DC voltage tracking down the electrode and lead from the burner flame.
The electrode and lead have been modified to resolve this issue.
If you believe this has happened (you may wish to operate the boiler and check if the temperature is 41°C) to the appliance you are working on please inspect whether the modified spark electrode is fitted.
