Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to AC Volts 
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Set selector switch to ch/dhw
Dhw temperature control to max
Dhw temperature control to max
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Measurement:
Allow ignition sequence to commence.
Measure for AC voltage across connection blue (neutral) connector CN1 (black probe)
and at connections blue and brown on connector CN6.
Test 1. Blue connection CN6, expected voltage varies between 185 - 230 vac.
Test 2. Brown connection CN6, expected voltage varies between 185 - 230 vac.
Note:
Voltage will only be present during the sparking stage of the ignition sequence,
this will last for approximately 5 seconds, the appliance will then go to lockout.
Reset boiler as required until test complete.
Measure for AC voltage across connection blue (neutral) connector CN1 (black probe)
and at connections blue and brown on connector CN6.
Test 1. Blue connection CN6, expected voltage varies between 185 - 230 vac.
Test 2. Brown connection CN6, expected voltage varies between 185 - 230 vac.
Note:
Voltage will only be present during the sparking stage of the ignition sequence,
this will last for approximately 5 seconds, the appliance will then go to lockout.
Reset boiler as required until test complete.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
