Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove both of the leads from the water flow switch

Measurement:

Measure the resistance between the exposed
terminals on the flow switch.
Expected resistance open circuit.
