Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Unclip and remove diverter valve head from the body
(This can be done without draining the appliance)
Unclip and remove diverter valve head from the body

Observation:
Inspect the diverter valve head and spindle for water damage.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
