Set Appliance State:
Mains Power Off
Gas Off
Mode selector switch to Off/Reset position
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Hot water temperature control set to maximum
Connect a U-gauge to the burner pressure test point
Remove protective cover from the gas valve adjustment screw
Connect a U-gauge to the burner pressure test point
Remove protective cover from the gas valve adjustment screw
Gas On

Measurement:
Mode selector switch to DHW position.
Allow boiler to ignite and heat up the DHW to approximately 55°C.
Set the flow rate at the hot water tap to approximately 4.5 litres/minute.
Does the burner pressure reduce as water temperature becomes satisfied and is a DHW temperature of approximately 55°C maintained?
Refit protective cover to the gas valve adjustment screw.
Note: When U-gauge is removed pressure nipple should be tightened & checked for gas soundness.
Allow boiler to ignite and heat up the DHW to approximately 55°C.
Set the flow rate at the hot water tap to approximately 4.5 litres/minute.
Does the burner pressure reduce as water temperature becomes satisfied and is a DHW temperature of approximately 55°C maintained?
Refit protective cover to the gas valve adjustment screw.
Note: When U-gauge is removed pressure nipple should be tightened & checked for gas soundness.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
