Set Appliance State:

Gas Off
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove wires from GV1 Solenoid noting locations

Measurement:

Check resistance of GV1 Solenoid (top) is approximately 5.2 Kohms.
Note:
Replace GV1 connections after test.
