Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Disconnect the speed control (right hand plug)
from the pump and make safe
Ensure no demands
from the pump and make safe
Ensure no demands

Measurement:
Measure the voltage between pin 1 (brown)
and pin 2 (blue) at X23 on the PCB.
Approximately 15V DC should be present.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
