Set Appliance State:

Turn Hot Water Tap On
Gas Off
Loosen the screw of the inlet pressure test point (on the isolation valve) and attach a pressure gauge

Gas On

Observation:
Monitor the pressure on the U-gauge.
As the boiler enters the sparking phase of its ignition sequence the inlet gas pressure should drop slightly but should stay above 18mb throughout.
Note:
After this test remove the gauge and make sure all disturbed gas connections are checked for tightness.
