Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove spark lead and earth wire from electrode

Measurement:

Measure the resistance across the disconnected leads.
There are two types of ignition lead that may be fitted on this appliance.
If a red ignition cap lead is fitted expect
approximately 350 Ohms between the leads.
If black ignition cap lead is fitted expect
approximately 1.35 kOhms between the leads.
