Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
Set Multimeter to AC Voltage 
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Selector Switch in DHW position
Hinge down the electrical control box and remove back of control box to expose PCBs
Selector Switch in DHW position
Hinge down the electrical control box and remove back of control box to expose PCBs

Measurement:
Measure voltage across connection 1 (black wire) and connection 2 (red wire) at connector J2 on the power board (in some instances wire colours may be blue and black).
Note:
Voltage will only be present for approximately 8 seconds during ignition sequence after which time lockout will occur.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
