Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Gain access to PCB
Remove fan driver PCB from the fan assembly
Remove fan driver PCB from the fan assembly
Measurement:
1. Is the fan assembly free to rotate without restriction?
2. Measure the resistance across the exposed fan terminals.
Expected resistance approximately 78 ohms.
3. Measure the resistance across an exposed
fan terminal to a suitable earth connection.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm.
4. Check that the electrical connections between the
fan motor terminals and PCB make a good contact.
