Attach temperature clamps to the heating flow and return as shown
(Right hand clamp can also be fitted on the
left near the thermistor if access allows)

Measurement:
CH temperature set to MAX.
Allow boiler to run and burner to ignite.
Once the system has started to warm measure the temperature differential between the flow and return pipes.
The differential should be approximately 25°C or below.
Note:
Differential may be higher on initial lighting.
