Observation:
If the fault code is still displayed reset the boiler by pressing the / R button for approximately 1 second, you may need to press this twice as if held too long it will put the boiler into standby.
If the fault code remains try a hard reset of the appliance by removing the flap with the spanner symbol and pressing the button behind it for approximately 1 second.
Turn Hot water tap ON
Does the appliance begin its ignition sequence and attempt to fire or does the overheat fault code reappear?
