Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Isolate the cold water supply to the boiler
Drain the hot water circuit

Observation:

Remove and inspect the mains water flow turbine for general condition.
Blow through the turbine to check in spins freely.
