Allow fan to run and boiler to fire and allow system to reach a reasonable operating temperature.
Attach Temperature probes as indicated by the red arrows

Measurement:
Using temp clamps measure the temperature of the flow and return pipes close to the primary heat exchanger.
Expected differential approx 11-20 °C.
Note:
For clarity the test is shown with the fan and burner removed but the test is carried out with these in place.
