Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Disconnect the wiring from the flue overheat stat
Measurement:
Measure resistance across the terminals of the flue overheat thermostat.
Note:
It may be necessary to remove the flue stat which is a bayonet fitting remember to check the integrity of the seal before refitting.
The resistance will vary according the boiler temperature but should conform approximately to the table below:
