Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove connector A5 from the PCB

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure the resistance across connection 6 (black wire) and connection 5 (white wire) at the disconnected connector A5.
Expect open circuit.
Test 2:
Turn hot tap ON.
Repeat test.
Expect continuity / zero resistance.
