Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect wires from pump

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure the resistance between the L and N terminals.
Expect approximately 178 Ohms for standard pumps.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between the L and earth terminals
Expect 1 MOhm or greater.
(O.L is acceptable because this is greater than 1MOhm).
Are the resistances measured as expected?
