Observation:

Blue Jumper
If the blue jumper is removed then the boiler will ignite at minimum fan speed. The fan speed will be reduced from 2800rpm to 1900 rpm which will in turn reduce the ignition gas rate. This should be adopted for appliances with hard ignition.
Red Jumper
If the red jumper is removed then the maximum central heating fan speed is changed to allow a full 30kw output. This only applies to the Combi 100 and 133. Removing this jumper on appliances with outputs lower than 30kw (i.e. Combi 80 HE Plus) will have no effect on the CH output.
Blue and Red Jumpers
If both the blue and red jumpers are removed then the intelligent preheat function is disabled (this has to be disabled for this XSol model) The central heating output is set to maximum (30kw) and the ignition rate is set to "normal" of 2800 rpm.
Intelligent Preheat
The preheat on this appliance is activated once hot water has been drawn for the first time and then remains active permanently however to avoid nuisance firing of the appliance the boiler includes an intelligent pre-heat feature. This feature ensures that the preheat will function only when the user required water the previous week. For example if the user requires hot water between 7:00am and 8:00 am on a Monday then the boiler will log this demand and the following Monday will preheat between 7:00am and 8:00am. During the first week of operation or after a new PCB normal pre heating (after each DHW demand) will occur.
Note:
Due to the way the jumper settings are configured there may be a compromise required between operation of the intelligent preheat and the ignition fan speed / CH output as setting reduced ignition fan speed or maximum CH output means the intelligent preheat has to be active.
