SPARK GENERATOR (INPUT) SEPARATE SPARK GEN

Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to AC Volts

Turn Hot Water Tap On

Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
Selector switch to DHW position
CH temperature selector to minimum
DHW temperature selector to maximum

WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure

Mains Power On

Measurement:

Allow fan to run. After approximately five seconds measure voltage across connection 3 (right hand blue lead) and connection 5 (right hand brown lead) on connector A1 on the PCB.
Voltage will only be present for approximately 10 seconds during ignition sequence.
If boiler goes to lockout it will require resetting.

Note:
On some versions of the PCB connector A1 has been rotated through 180 degrees (two blues on the right and two browns on the left) in this case test between the left hand brown lead and left hand blue lead.
