Set Appliance State:
Mains Reset Switch OFF
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove diverter valve head from valve body - do not disconnect electrically
Note:
Removal of pressure switch connector will aid in removal of head
Set DHW temperature selector to OFF
Set CH temperature selector to OFF
All heating controls (other than CH temperature selector) calling
Ensure both CH and DHW will require heat input
Remove diverter valve head from valve body - do not disconnect electrically

Removal of pressure switch connector will aid in removal of head
Set DHW temperature selector to OFF
Set CH temperature selector to OFF
All heating controls (other than CH temperature selector) calling
Ensure both CH and DHW will require heat input

Observation:
Mains reset switch On.
DHW temperature selector to Max.
Observe diverter valve actuator pin, this should now be in or moving to its retracted position (DHW position) if pin is not in retracted position lightly push the pin, it should move to the retracted position with no resistance.
Turn DHW temperature selector to Off.
Turn CH temperature selector to Max.
Observe the diverter valve actuator pin, it should now move to its
extended position (CH position).
DHW temperature selector to Max.
Observe diverter valve actuator pin, this should now be in or moving to its retracted position (DHW position) if pin is not in retracted position lightly push the pin, it should move to the retracted position with no resistance.
Turn DHW temperature selector to Off.
Turn CH temperature selector to Max.
Observe the diverter valve actuator pin, it should now move to its
extended position (CH position).
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
