Set Appliance State:
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove connector J1 from PCB and position it safely away from the board
Remove connector J1 from PCB and position it safely away from the board

Observation:
Check display with connector removed.
Is display now illuminated?
A fault code may be shown
Is display now illuminated?
A fault code may be shown
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
