Set Appliance State:
Mains Reset Switch OFF
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Turn the CH switch to the On (I) position
Release the front facia by gently prising up the retaining latches at the top of the facia
Turn the CH switch to the On (I) position
Release the front facia by gently prising up the retaining latches at the top of the facia
Measurement:
Test 1.
Measure resistance between the centre tag and the L/H connection on the back of the CH switch.
Expected resistance approximately 1.8 KOhms.
Test 2.
Repeat test between centre tag and R/H connection on the back of the CH switch.
Expected resistance approximately 1.6 KOhms.
Note:
The centre tag is only just visible but if the probe is placed in the middle of
the two connections and touching the PCB then a good contact can be made.
Measure resistance between the centre tag and the L/H connection on the back of the CH switch.
Expected resistance approximately 1.8 KOhms.
Test 2.
Repeat test between centre tag and R/H connection on the back of the CH switch.
Expected resistance approximately 1.6 KOhms.
Note:
The centre tag is only just visible but if the probe is placed in the middle of
the two connections and touching the PCB then a good contact can be made.
