Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove the two wires to the "burner off" terminals and make safe
Fit a wire link between the 2 terminals
WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure
Mains Power On

Observation:

Allow the boiler to complete its self-check.
Has the spanner symbol cleared from the display?
Note:
The condensate connector MUST be refitted after this test is complete, it is not acceptable to leave these connections linked out.
