Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to Resistance

Disconnect the leads from the sensor
The sensor is located directly on the plate to plate heat exchanger

Measure resistance across the sensor.

Resistances vary with temperature and should conform approximately to the table below:
