Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to AC Volts 
Disconnect connector X18 from the PCB
(place in a safe position)
(place in a safe position)

Measurement:
Monitor the voltage between pin 1 of connector X18 (pump connector) on the PCB and a suitable earth.
A few seconds after the appliance is switched on approximately 240 VAC should be present for approximately 5 seconds as the PCB tries to run the pump this should then drop back to 0 VAC. This should happen 4 more times as the PCB repeatedly tries to run the pump before lockout occurs.
Note:
If the appliance locks out the voltage will stop fluctuating and will need to be reset to complete the test.

and refit as necessary
