CH Demand
Ensure there is NO flow around the heating system
i.e. turn off all radiators
i.e. turn off all radiators

Observation:
Allow the boiler to fire and the system to start to heat.
Is the internal by-pass tube approximately the same temperature as the flow pipe, signifying the auto by-pass valve is open?
