Set Appliance State:

Remove, by unscrewing the retaining ring,
the diverter valve motor from the diverter valve
the diverter valve motor from the diverter valve
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
Watch the movement of the diverter valve motor
spindle as power to the appliance is restored.
If the spindle begins retracted it should extend fully,
stop briefly, then return to the retracted position.
If the spindle begins extended it should either:
a) Behave as above OR
b) Spin in one direction, stop briefly, then spin in the opposite direction.
Note:
The movement is not smooth and hesitates in the centre, ensure it does not stick in the central position.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
