Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
CH Demand
Remove, by unscrewing the retaining ring,
the diverter valve motor from the diverter valve
the diverter valve motor from the diverter valve
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
Turn DHW temperature selector to MINIMUM to disable preheat
then turn back up to approximately 60°C (3 o'clock position).
Mains Power OFF.
Wait approx 2 seconds then turn Mains Power ON.
Watch the movement of the diverter valve motor
spindle as power to the appliance is restored.
If the spindle begins retracted it should extend fully,
stop briefly, then return to the retracted position.
If the spindle begins extended it should either:
a) Behave as above OR
b) Spin in one direction, stop briefly, then spin in the opposite direction.
then turn back up to approximately 60°C (3 o'clock position).
Mains Power OFF.
Wait approx 2 seconds then turn Mains Power ON.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
