Set Appliance State:
Mains Power Off
Set Multimeter to DC Volts

Measurement:
Reset appliance if required.
(press and hold the power button for 4 seconds then release)
Allow the pump to run during the appliance self-check.
Measure the DC voltage between pin 19 of connector X2 and an earth (use the copper pipe to the gas valve as earth).
Expect approximately 1.1 Vdc.
Is the voltage measured as expected?

and refit as necessary
