Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to AC Volts 
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Remove cover from pump assembly

Measurement:
Measure the AC voltage between the L and N terminals at the pump assembly.
Expect approximately 240 VAC.
Is the voltage measured as expected?
Note:
The colour of the wires to the pump terminals may vary but this does not affect the test.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
