Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Gain access to the outlet of the fan assembly
Observation:
If the appliance flue length is less than 1 metre
(2 metres for twin flue) then a diaphragm (flue restrictor)
must be fitted at the bottom of the flue turret.
If fitted the restrictor can be seen from inside the combustion chamber, overlapping the boiler chassis as shown in the picture.
Is restrictor installed correctly as per flue length of the appliance?
Note:
Restrictor is different size depending on boiler output, if you suspect wrong restrictor is fitted the flue turret will need to be removed to accurately check.
Betacom 24C : 83mm
Betacom 30C : 85mm
