Set Appliance State:

CH Demand
Ensure radiators are open and water can circulate around the system
Attach temperature clamp to the flow pipe (30cm from boiler)
Attach temperature clamp to the flow pipe (30cm from boiler)

Measurement:
Allow self-check to complete and the boiler to fire and run for CH for 5 minutes.
Using a temperature probe measure temperature of the primary return
pipe and compare it to the temperature of the CH flow pipe.
Is the primary return pipe temperature inside the boiler
higher than the flow pipe temperature?
Note:
Ensure a good connection is made with the flow & return pipes
or misdiagnosis will occur
