Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Observation:

Check which type of heating controls are fitted to the appliance:
1. Internal Timer only (no external controls) - Both mains and low voltage controls linked out.
If appliance has no other controls then X20 on the PCB should have a link fitted and the terminal block on the left hand side of the PCB cover should also have a link.
2. Low voltage external controls (and internal timer) - Mains controls linked out.
If appliance has low voltage external controls then X20 on the PCB should have a link fitted and the external controls should be fitted to the terminal block on the left hand side of the PCB cover.
3. Mains voltage external controls (and internal timer) - Low voltage controls linked out.
If appliance has mains voltage external controls then the external controls should be fitted to X20 on the PCB via an additional terminal block and the terminal block on the left hand side of the PCB cover should have a link.
Note:
If internal timer is not used / linked out choose option 2 or 3 depending on type of external controls.
