Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove detection electrode from burner

Measurement:

Check detection electrode general condition.
  • Check the ceramics for any damage or cracks.
  • Electrode is clean & not warped.
  • Confirm continuity of electrode & lead (see note).
    Expected resistance continuity (zero resistance).
    Notes:
    1. If required clean the electrode to ensure a good connection is made.
    2. Refer to ADAPT regarding any gasket replacement requirements.
