Set Multimeter to AC Volts

CH Demand

WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure

Mains Power On

Measurement:

Reset appliance if required., allow the ignition sequence to commence.
1. Measure for mains voltage across pins 4 & 5 of gas valve connector.
2. Measure for mains voltage across pins 1 & 4 of gas valve connector.
Expect mains voltage on both tests (see note).

Note.
Voltage duration is approximately 5 seconds during the sparking phase of ignition with a 15 second interval, the boiler will enter lockout after 3 attempts of ignition, reset boiler as required until test is complete.
