1. Check that the insulation around the cable entering the pump is sound.

2. Clip the sensor around the pump mains cable (see picture on the right for guidance), as close to the pump as possible. It is important that the sensor is clipped to the cable as shown.

3. Connect the 3.5mm plug to the Microphone socket on the rear of the Field Terminal (as shown).

4. Turn on the heating system and ensure there is a demand for heat.

5.Run LIMPET

6. Once limpet is running select the Pump Type when propted.

7. The diagnostics application will collect data from the pump for a short time (about 10 seconds) then produce an initial result, while the sensor is connected and the program is running data will be collected and results updated.
