Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Disconnect the 3 pin Power connector from the Fan
Measurement:
Test 1.
Measure for resistance across pins 1 & 3 of fan connector.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm.
Test 2.
Measure for resistance across pin 3 and a suitable earth connection.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm.
Measure for resistance across pins 1 & 3 of fan connector.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm.
Test 2.
Measure for resistance across pin 3 and a suitable earth connection.
Expected resistance greater than 1 MOhm.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
