Ensure boiler is cool
Attach temperature clamps to flow & return pipe
Attach temperature clamps to flow & return pipe

Observation:
Reset appliance, press and hold the reset button until the chimney
sweep button led flashes rapidly, then release the reset button.
Allow boiler to ignite and run for CH, observe the temperature of the flow & return pipes.
1. Does the flow pipe temperature increase rapidly compared to the return pipe & temperature protection occurs?
2. Does the temperature differential between flow and return exceed 30°C with temperature protection occurring?
