Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
DHW Demand
Disconnect the ignition lead and wedge it into the ridge above the combustion chamber as shown
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
Reset boiler as necessary.
*WARNING* Stand clear of lead during test.
Approximately 15 seconds after the fan starts to run can a strong consistent spark be seen from the ignition lead?
Note:
Boiler will attempt to light 3 times before going to lockout.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
