The design and length of the condensate pipe can vary greatly between installations. Correct disposal of the condensate is very important to the proper operation of the appliance.

Thoroughly inspect all of the boilers internal condensate pipework and any siphon or trap that is fitted removing and servicing as required following manufacturer's instructions. The condensate pipe connecting the boiler to the drain should also be thoroughly checked along its entire length (as far as practical) for blockages or restrictions, ensuring all joints are correctly sealed and free from leaks.
