Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Carefully remove the electrode assembly from
the combustion box door

Measurement:
Check flame sense electrode is in good overall condition.
Ceramic not cracked.
Electrode not warped or distorted.
No build-up of contamination on electrode.
Electrode approx. 18mm in length (not burnt down).
Check for continuity (zero resistance) between the tip of the electrode and the lead connection point. The test points will differ depending on which electrode you have.
Note:
Before reassembly check the integrity of all disturbed gaskets and seals and replace as necessary.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
