Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove electrical connector from fan assembly

Measurement:

Measure the resistance across the two outer terminals of the fan.
Resistance should be greater than 1 Mohm.
Refit the wires after completing the test.
