Electrical Safety Checks
Carry out all normal Electrical Safety Checks before carrying out any work on the appliance.
See section P4 Safe Electrical Working Practice and C6 Electrical Installations in Technical Operation Procedures (TOPs) and for the Diagnostics paying special attention to: Earth continuity, Short circuit and Polarity
Carry out Essential Checks as per TOPs A1 Service and interim Policies
System Checks
Please ensure the following system checks are completed:
System/Boiler is correctly charged as necessary and bled of air.
Bypass (internal or external to the boiler) is correctly adjusted as necessary.
Manual reset devices are set.
N.B. Ignoring electrical, Essential or system safety checks can lead to an unsafe situation and/or inaccurate diagnosis.
