Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Boiler Thermostat in its MAX position
Ensure that the Boiler has not reached the Thermostat MAX position cut off temperature

Measurement:

Remove the white spaded wires on the boiler thermostat and measure the resistance across the thermostat.
