Set Appliance State:
Mains Power Off
CH Demand
Mode Switch in HIGH position
| WARNING! Mains voltage is expected during test, follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
Allow the Boiler to operate and reach a high operational temperature.
Switch the Boiler off using the Room Thermostat/External Controls.
Does the Pump continue to run until the Boiler is cooled down sufficiently?
Note 1:
Pump Overrun stat senses the air temperature inside the inner case when air temperature above approximately 70 deg C Pump should overrun.
Note 2:
It may be necessary to reduce the heating load by turning off some radiators.
This will shorten time required for this test.
If no Room Thermostat/External Controls are fitted:
Remove the Link wire between the HW and ON terminals on the main connector.
Mains Power On
Repeat the test.
Switch the Boiler off using the Room Thermostat/External Controls.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
