Attach a temperature clamp to the flow pipe as indicated by the red arrow

Observation:
Allow the appliance to run and fire
Measure the temperature of the flow pipe and observe the appliance. It should heat until approximately 85°C and then the burner should shut down without a fault code.
Note:
Reducing heating load by turning off some radiators will reduce the time taken for the test.
BOILER SHUTS DOWN BEFORE 85°C REACHED OR FAULT CODE SHOWN
BOILER REACHES MAX TEMPERATURE AND SHUTS DOWN CORRECTLY
BOILER CONTINUES TO HEAT PAST 85°C
