Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
The controls pod / PCB housing on this boiler is prone to damage and may not be fitted correctly.
While using this model always use engineering judgement and do not carry
out any tests that you feel are not safe to do due to damage to the housing.
The following is not intended to be a comprehensive guide but will explain the process to gain access to the housing,
access to this is required to positively isolate the appliance, refer to TOPs P4 for information on positive isolation.
Loosen & remove the controls access door / housing.
Remove the combustion case (4 screws, 1 in each corner).
Remove the two screws at the front of the controls pod (5.5mm spanner / socket).
Access should now be possible to the terminal block at the back of controls pod which must be used to prove isolation.
After isolation is complete you can lift the front fascia out to improve access.
1x screw to the left of the terminal block will allow controls pod to be lifted away from the gas valve.
