Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Remove connector X1C from the PCB
Measurement:
Test 1.
Measure for resistance between pin 1 (brown)
and pin 2 (blue) on connector X1C.
Resistance vary by pump but should be greater than 120Ω
Resistance on ErP pumps will be significantly higher.
(Greater than 1MΩ or O.L.)
Test 2.
Measure for resistance between pin 1 (brown) on connector X1C and a suitable earth connection.
Expected resistance greater than 1MΩ (or O.L).
Measure for resistance between pin 1 (brown)
and pin 2 (blue) on connector X1C.
Resistance vary by pump but should be greater than 120Ω
Resistance on ErP pumps will be significantly higher.

Test 2.
Measure for resistance between pin 1 (brown) on connector X1C and a suitable earth connection.
Expected resistance greater than 1MΩ (or O.L).
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
